If you want a personal touch, someone who listens, and goes above and beyond to find “YOUR” house. Lydia Bishop is your Realtor. We would recommend her to everyone we know! Why we liked working with Lydia: * Lydia was always honest with us and answered all of our questions and believe me  there was plenty! She was truly motivated to help us find the perfect home. She provided great tools for us to assist in selecting homes to go and see. * When we first started, we were all over the place with our requirements, as we started to see houses, she helped us refine and define what we really wanted. * She often anticipated our desires to see homes. Her experience helped us to find the right house, get a good price, and close quickly. * Lydia was always available by phone, text or email whenever we needed to speak with her on any issues and would always promptly respond to email /texts/calls. * She did not push us into homes nor did she push us away from homes. Instead she asked us how we felt about the home after each visit and let us come to our own decisions. If we were unsure, we asked her for her personal/professional opinion and only then would she influence our decision. If we didn’t like the homes we saw, she would go back and find new ones. That’s one of the important things we liked about Lydia. No pressure. If the home you see isn’t what you want, look at some more. * It is easy to get emotional and react to various situations during the process, especially when it involves purchasing something so expensive. Lydia helped us to focus on our end goal; to win the bid and then close on the home. She recommended the strategy/approach we needed to take in dealing with the seller’s agent and often helped keep us grounded. * Purchasing a home is a business transaction, but some of the other agents that we interviewed before Lydia treat the entire process as purely business (very impersonal and all-business). Our experience with Lydia while professional was also very personal, we got to learn about Lydia, her family and likewise she got to know us. She made us feel like family. And I would like to think we have a friend for life. * We loved that she held several traits that were near and dear to us: Honesty, Integrity and Loyalty. We chose Lydia Bishop to be our buyer’s agent and had a great experience. If we are going to sell our house and or buy another, Lydia will be our first and only choice! Lydia is a graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a BA in Finance. She paid her way through GWU by working night shifts in the Delivery Room as a Registered Nurse in Washington D.C. area hospitals on weekends. Lydia worked on Wall St. auditing brokerage houses and served as a Public Arbitrator. She opened up her brokerage, Sesame Realty, LLC in January 2018. She has earned the following certifications & designations during her career:CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) Graduate Realtor Institute GRI, Certified Military Relocation Professional, Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES); Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR); REOTrans Platinum Certified; Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE); GREEN Certified, Residential Construction Certified (RCC) & is the incoming President for the Hawaii chapter of the Residential Real Estate Council.
